aboutThe 1970s

Arizona Commercial traces its roots back to the 1970’s when Jim Pullaro, the Designated Broker for Arizona Commercial, founded the Arizona School of Real Estate, located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Today, Arizona School of Real Estate is the largest and most respected institution of its kind in the Southwest. Literally, thousands of Arizona real estate licensees, Associate Brokers and Brokers found their beginning in this school.

The 1980s

Arizona Commercial’s brokerage roots began when Jim Pullaro founded the James Pullaro & Company in Phoenix in the 1980’s with full services including commercial real estate brokerage and development management services for Canadian and American developers.

The commercial brokerage and development management services included feasibility studies, pro forma and financial analysis and acquisition; assistance in the coordination of the design and development process; management of leasing activities and brokerage of the sale or joint venture of the completed project.

The 1990s

Arizona Commercial Funding, Inc., the successor to James Pullaro and Company, was formed in the 1990’s to provide investors with professional commercial real estate brokerage, plus institutional and equity financing services.

During this time most of the current Team of Associates were working in various aspects of the real estate industry as marketers, owners, agents and brokers with each of them playing leadership roles in their organizations.

The 2000’s

In 2002, Arizona Commercial Funding, Inc. adopted the Arizona Commercial “DBA” and is now the preeminent leader in commercial real estate leasing and sales in central and northern Arizona.

With a market share that has often exceeded 40%, Arizona Commercial has assembled one of the most highly qualified commercial real estate teams made up of more CCIM, CPM, MBAs and other degrees and designations than any other firm in our market.

In late 2009, Arizona Commercial implemented a Company growth initiative that started with two key decisions. The first of these was the invitation the Company extended to Donald Teel to join the Ownership and Management Team as President and Chief Executive Officer to head the business growth of the Company.

The second decision was to add property management and the company did this by merger with Majectic Properties and the addition of Dan Frederiksen as the President of the Property Management Group.

2010 and Beyond
